World ranking: No reward for brutal Boks

SPOTLIGHT: The Springboks still sit comfortably at No.1 on the World Rugby rankings.

However, South Africa received no reward for their brutal 33-7 mauling of Australia in Round One of the Rugby Championship.

The Boks started the round on 93.11 points and remained there.

The round’s biggest winner was Argentina – going from seventh (81.64) to sixth (83.64) with their 38-30 win over New Zealand in Wellington.

The result saw the All Blacks lose two ranking points (90.37 to 88.37), but remain in third place.
