Cooper in doubt for Wallabies?
Quade Cooper's future with the Wallabies has been set back yet again as the flyhalf is battling another shoulder injury ahead of the Rugby Championship.
Cooper's career has been in the media spotlight of late after the Reds dumped him. He is now undecided on committing his talents to French giants Toulon or penning a deal with the Australian Rugby Union, part of which could see him involved in the Sevens ahead of the Olympics.
However a more immediate concern for Cooper is his shoulder injury which he sustained in the Reds' final game of the season against the Waratahs.
It has been a dire season for the playmaker in terms of injuries. He broke is collar-bone during Reds' pre-season before breaking his scapula in April.
Cooper hasn't been present at the Wallaby training camps as he has been consulting medical staff over the last couple of days, however the seriousness of the injury is unknown at this point.
Cooper needs just seven Tests to reach the point that would make him eligible for Wallaby selection while plying his trade overseas. With the Rugby Championship and the World Cup on the horizon he will surely reach that point, unless injury holds him back.
