Fijian cited for ear-biting

The incident occurred during his team's 36-45 loss to Brisbane City at Ballymore Stadium

Suguturaga was cited for allegedly biting the ear of his opposite number, Brisbane City skipper Andrew Ready, during a scrum in the 29th minute of the opening-round clash.

Ready reported the incident to the on-field referee immediately.

The judicial hearing will take place at the Queensland Rugby Union (QRU) offices at Ballymore on Tuesday,  September 5 and will be overseen by judicial officer Paul Tully.
