Horwill to walk out on Wallabies?
Former Wallaby captain James Horwill is reportedly on the verge of signing a big-money deal with English Premiership club Harlequins after next year's World Cup.
According to The Mail on Sunday, the Reds second row forward is believed to have been offered £300,000 (AU$550,000) per season.
It would come as another huge blow to Australia, after the exodus of Nick Cummins, Ben Mowen, Matt Giteau, Drew Mitchell, James O'Connor and Digby Ioane in recent times.
The 100-Test veteran Adam Ashley-Cooper has also expressed his intentions to quit Australia after the World Cup.
Horwill, currently in Europe for the Wallabies' year-end tour, has 56 caps for Australia, including 16 as captain, but has only started in two Tests this year.
Former coach Ewen McKenzie appeared to favour Rob Simmons, Sam Carter and Will Skelton over Horwill, who has struggled after a serious hamstring injury ruled him out of the entire 2012 international season.
The 29-year-old was skipper during the Wallabies' 2011 World Cup campaign.
