Wallabies elevated to 'favourites'
The two-time World Cup winners made their biggest statement this year when they convincingly beat world No.1 New Zealand in an enthrauling clash last Saturday.
The Wallabies inevitably seem to find the right formula during a World Cup year.
If they manage to beat the All Blacks at Eden Park on Saturday, they will start the World Cup unbeaten in 2015.
However, captain Stephen Moore says that they cannot afford to relax when they have so much still to play for.
Moore believes the win against the All Blacks were great for the team and supporters, but he feels it's crucial that the side now shuts it out, and focus on this weekend's clash.
"There's obviously a lot of positivity around the win on the weekend and we want our supporters, people on the street, to be happy about it," Moore said in an interview on OneNews.
Yet it is important for the Wallabies to remain grounded.
"We haven't achieved anything yet. We just want to get the week right and get the performance right."
Moore believes that a large part of the teams success this year is thanks largely to coach Michael Cheika.
"It's not hard with Cheika reminding us all the time about the importance of just improving each day and training really hard and that's been our focus this week," he said.
The Wallabies have definately strengthened their claim for World Cup glory with the victory over the All Blacks, but they know that they can take nothing for granted.
Michael Cheika is set to give Matt Toomua a start at flyhalf after Bernard Foley had a less than impressive showing against the All Blacks, while Nick White may get the nod at scrumhalf after his sensational cameo at the end of the game.
Henry Speight is also set to make his return, while Wycliff Palu could likely be a bench replacement against the All Blacks
