Wallaby backs keep dropping

Wallabies wings Joe Tomane and Chris Feauai-Sautia are the latest backline players to have been ruled out of Saturday's Test against the All Blacks due to injury.

This comes just a day after inside centre and leading goal-kicker Christian Lealiifano was ruled out of the Bledisloe Cup clash with an ankle injury.

Tomane and Feauai-Sautia attempted to overcome hamstring awareness issues during the past two days of training but following further assessment have today been ruled out by medical staff.

The decision ensures the pair will avoid the additional risk of aggravating their injuries in the lead-up to the year-end tour and will now spend the upcoming week in rehab.

Both players will re-join the squad next week and travel with the Wallabies to England on Friday October 25 in preparation for their opening match of a five-game tour.

Waratahs wing Peter Betham has been added to the squad for the upcoming Test and will be part of the 24-man playing group which travels to Dunedin tomorrow ahead of Saturday's match in New Zealand.
