Canada too strong for the Lions of Spain

In its second tour match Canada were too strong for Spain, winning 60-22 in Madrid on Saturday afternoon in the first-ever test between the two countries.

Up in Cardiff an 18-year-old scored two tries for Wales. Not to be outdone in Madrid an 18-year-old scored two tries against Spain – George North in Cardiff and Taylor Paris in Madrid. North was making his debut, Paris playing his second match.

Canada scored eight tries to two, which is the summary of their superiority. Their forwards were much too strong and set their backs running.
