Another Aussie on England panel
Jones confirmed that England's legendary World Cup-winning flyhalf Jonny Wilkinson and Wallaby stalwart George Smith will help him on an informal basis during the Six Nations.
Jonny Wilkinson broke the hearts of Jones's Australia team when he kicked the winning drop-goal in the 2003 World Cup Final in Sydney.
"We've got an informal relationship with Jonny that he'll come in at various times to help our players with their kicking," Jones said in an interview the England website.
"It's not a formal relationship, but we're very grateful that he's going to lend his considerable skill."
Smith was coached by Jones during the World Cup in 2003 and won 111 caps for the Wallabies.
He is now making his mark at Wasps in the Premiership and, at the age of 35, he is still rated as one of the best players in the world at the breakdown.
"George Smith, I've known since he was 19-years-old," Jones said, adding: "We first signed him out of club rugby at the Brumbies, so I've had a long relationship with him.
"He's going to come and give us a hand with breakdown skills."
Jones also reacted to the news that wing Chris Ashton has received a 10-week ban for making contact with the eyes of Ulster's Luke Marshall in a European Champions Cup game.
Ashton has the right to appeal against the decision.
"It's disappointing for Chris," said Jones.
"Obviously we've got to wait and see if he appeals, and then if he appeals, what happens to the appeal and we'll take it from there and then we'll worry about a replacement.
"Chris has got to take responsibility for it.
"Is the suspension too hard? No. That's the suspension he's got. One hundred percent the onus is on him to make sure he doesn't get into that position.
"But I am disappointed for him. He was a player in our squad. He's been playing well this season and it looks like he has been working hard.
"He's got that enthusiasm to get the ball and has been one of the form players in the Premiership. He has a real sniff for the try line and that is a skill in itself.
"It's a setback. Everyone has setbacks and it's about how hard he fights back now."
Jones will announce Ashton's replacement in his squad once the appeal process has concluded.
Ashton's ban is due to end on March 28, nine days after England's final Six Nations match against France in Paris.
They open the tournament against Scotland at Murrayfield on February 6.
