Eddie brings in the big guns for Italy

SQUAD UPDATE: England coach Eddie Jones has made two changes to his 28-man squad to face Italy next Saturday in round two of the Six Nations.

Forwards Kyle Sinckler and Mako Vunipola have joined the 28-player tournament squad the RFU confirmed on Tuesday.

Sinckler was banned last month for aggressively swearing at a referee during Bristol Bears’ Premiership win over Exeter Chiefs.

While Vunipola has been rehabbing an Achilles injury since last playing for England in the November win over Wales in the Nations Cup.

Meanwhile, Harry Williams and Tom West, who were part of the 6-11 defeat to Scotland, have returned to their clubs.

England’s 28-man squad:

Backs: Elliot Daly, Anthony Watson, Max Malins, Jonny May, Paolo Odogwu, Henry Slade, Ollie Lawrence, Owen Farrell, George Ford, Ben Youngs, Dan Robson, Harry Randall.

Forwards: Beno Obano, Ellis Genge, Mako Vunipola, Will Stuart, Kyle Sinckler, Jamie George, Luke Cowan-Dickie, Maro Itoje, Charlie Ewels, Jonny Hill, Courtney Lawes, Tom Curry, Sam Underhill, Mark Wilson, Billy Vunipola, Ben Earl.
