England hooker heads home

Hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie was ruled out of the rest England's tour of New Zealand, after injuring his knee in training last week.

The uncapped Exeter forward was part of the England squad that flew to New Zealand late last month, but played no part in the tourists' 15-20 loss to the All Blacks in Auckland on Saturday.

"Unfortunately he has not been able to take a full part in training," England coach Stuart Lancaster said

"It's the right thing for him to go back to Exeter and have further assessment.

"We have four other hookers, so we are well covered in that position and we will not be bringing anyone else out."

The next match in the three-Test series is in Dunedin on Saturday.
