Fullback George Furbank has been ruled out of the clash after being rushed to hospital with appendicitis.
According to English media, the 29-year-old began suffering symptoms after Friday’s captain’s run at Ellis Park.
A replacement has not been confirmed. However, Marcus Smith will likely be promoted from the bench into that No.15 jersey.
It’s a huge setback for Furbank, who has not played a Test since November 2024 due to several injuries.
