Player ratings: Ben Smith show
A real game of two halves , England would have though they had the edge on only for the All Blacks to come back, in typical fashion, to blow them away.
England put everything into their first half performance but could not get away on the score board to go in at half time leading by four points only.
The second half began with a Ben Smith try and that was the spark that saw the All Blacks back to their devastating selves outscoring England drastically.
A really exciting game came to a head with England coming back right at the end with an Aston try, but it was just not enough leaving New Zealand to take the series 2-0.
Darryn Pollock rates the New Zealand players!
15 Ben Smith:
Made a lot of the running and popped up when needed, scored a team try and his one-on-one defending was immense, very elusive.
9/10
14 Cory Jane:
A very sloppy showing from a usually slick wing, knocked three balls on in open space but got better in the second half.
6/10
13 Conrad Smith:
Worked hard in the midfield looking for space and defending his areas, still got an eye for a gap and a line.
8/10
12 Ma'a Nonu:
Typical Nonu, a bit erratic and got blown up for a few things but still got the All Blacks on the front foot and made his try with a lot of work still to do.
8/10
11 Julian Savea:
Strong with ball in hand when he did get it, put Yarde on his backside! Got more involved in the game as it went on
7/10
10 Aaron Cruden:
Sloppy and predictable in running the game, missing a bit of class from a certain Mr Carter but his kicking from the tee was decent.
5/10
9 Aaron Smith:
Found it hard getting the ball going under some pressure from the England pack, made a few silly mistakes, but his speed helped them get going.
6/10
8 Jerome Kaino:
missing in the first half and his good offload for Savea's try was his only real contribution.
4/10
7 Richie McCaw:
Maybe this is the end of the legend, he looked very out of sorts and lethargic but did rally his team towards the end.
5/10
6 Liam Messam:
A quiet game from both him and Kaino but found it easier going when the game opened up.
5/10
5 Sam Whitelock:
Made a few silly mistakes at the start but worked hard in the tight and set pieces, pinching some possession.
7/10
4 Brodie Retallick:
Gave away an early penalty but did all the donkey-work at the rucks.
7/10
3 Owen Franks:
Did what he needed to do in the scrums and really hit the rucks hard.
6/10
2 Dane Coles:
worked hard in defense and tackled well, but didnt get much hands on the ball.
6/10
1 Tony Woodcock:
Another one who played his role, scrummed solidly and was involved in the rucks, even made a few carries.
6/10

Not enough time to be rated.
