Referees for Premiership Final
This will be the eighth time Barnes will have refereed the Premiership final, the third time in the last four years and only a matter of just a fortnight since he refereed the final of Rugby Europe's Championship Cup final, in which Leinster beat Racing.

The Premiership final will be between Saracens and Exeter Chiefs. The Chiefs won in 2017, Saracens in 2015 and 2016.
For Barnes, who is 39 and a barrister by profession, this match will have a significant tag attached – his 200th Premiership match.
If the match ends drawn, extra time will be played in two halves of 10 minutes each, as happened in 2014 and last year. If at the end of extra time, the scores are still level, the winner will be the team scoring more tries than the other side. If things are still equal after that, the winner will be decided by kicks at goal.
