Smith sidelined for six weeks

Conrad Smith has broken a bone in his hand after the All Blacks narrow one point victory against England and will miss the third and final Test.

Smith was instumental in New Zealands second half come back, linking well with outside backs Julian Savea, Cory Jane and man-of-the-match Ben Smith.

The injury may rule the 77-test veteran out of rugby for up to six weeks, this would find him sitting sideline for the remainder of the Hurricanes Super Rugby season.

Coach Steve Hansen said the All Blacks will decide later this week whether Malakai Fekitoa or Ryan Crotty will start at center in Smith's place.

If New Zealand chooses Fekitoa it will be his first test start for the exciting centre who has burst onto the world stage with some impressive performances for the Highlanders.

New Zealand clinched the three-test series 2-0 after winning the first test 20-15 and the second 28-27.
