Teague was previously the England Under-20 attack and backs coach.

"Rory's come up from the 20s and he'll be full-time with us," Jones told espn.co.uk

"He's a good, young coach. He's inquisitive, curious, wants to get better and therefore he can play a key role for us in improving the skills of the players."

During his playing days, Teague represented Gloucester and Bristol in England and Grenoble in France.

His coaching life started at Harrow where he had a role in mentoring and coaching the young Maro Itoje who was crowned World Rugby's breakthrough player for 2016.

England begin their Six Nations campaign with a match against France at Twickenham on February 4.
