Radradra and Cummings to learn their fate
NEWS: Fiji wing Semi Radradra and Scotland lock Scott Cummings are set to learn their fate following foul play in their respective matches this past weekend.
Fiji No.11 Semi Radradra will attend an independent disciplinary hearing after he was shown a 20 minute red card during Fiji’s clash with Wales on Sunday, November 10.
This came following a review by the Foul Play Review Officer (FPRO) for an act of foul play contrary to Law 9.13 – a player must not tackle an opponent early, late or dangerously.
Radradra will attend the hearing via video conference before an independent Disciplinary Committee consisting of Chair Phillipe Cavalieros of France, joined by Valeriu Toma of Romania and Stefan Terblanche of South Africa.
The hearing will take place on Tuesday, November 12 at 16.00 GMT.
The second disciplinary hearing for Scotland lock Scott Cummings will also take place on Tuesday, November 12 at 19.00 GMT
Lock Cummings will attend an independent disciplinary hearing after he was awarded a 20 minute red card following a review by the Foul Play Review Officer (FPRO) for an act of foul play contrary to Law 20.9 – Dangerous play in a ruck – a player must not drop their weight onto an opponent or target the lower limbs.
The incident took place during Scotland’s clash against world champions South Africa on Sunday, November 10.
Cummings will attened the hearing via video conference before an independent Disciplinary Committee consisting of Chair Rhian Williams of Wales and will be joined by Donal Courtney of Ireland and Olly Kohn of Wales.
