World Rankings: How Bok Women can move into single digits
NEWS: World Rugby has published the ranking permutations for this weekend’s matches in Japan and South Africa.
New Zealand cannot improve their rating with victory over South Africa as a result of the 19.14-point differential between the teams.
South Africa will jump three places to a record high of seventh if they can beat New Zealand, with an additional place gained if the margin is by more than 15 points.
A first loss to South Africa will see the Black Ferns drop to third with Canada replacing them in second.
Fiji will climb to a new high of 12th if they beat Japan, condemning Wales to their lowest-ever position of 13th in the process.
Japan cannot improve their rating with victory in Fukuoka as they will only gain a maximum of 0.62 points, not enough to catch South Africa in 10th.
Fiji will fall one place to 14th, swapping places with Spain, if they lose by more than 15 points.
