Aussie flank joins Lyon from Toulon

Having only joined the French south coast club Toulon last season from Queensland Reds, pundits regularly handed out rave reviews for the 25-year-old, so the signing is seen as a coup for Lyon.

Gill was born in Melbourne and lived in the United States playing junior Rugby in Adelaide for the Old Collegians before reyurning to Australia.

The Australia international is the 14th new recruit for Lyon, who came 10th in the French top flight last season.
