Chavancy races to France's call
The 28-year-old Chavancy steps in after 44-times capped Fofana ruptured his Achilles tendon in Clermont's European Cup win over Exeter on Saturday.
France's 32-man squad will meet this week in the French training centre at Marcoussis outside Paris, to prepare for the Six Nations tournament which they last won in 2010.
