Chouly fit for Scotland clash

His club Clermont announced Monday that he had suffered only a "bruise" and will be fit to play in Edinburgh.

The 30-year-old Chouly could play in the Top 14 against Grenoble on Friday, while Clermont teammate Scott Spedding may return from a knee problem.

France fullback Spedding has not played for the national side since the World Cup quarterfinal thrashing to New Zealand last year, but could return for the Scotland clash.

Maxime Medard took the 29-year-old's place for the first three games and scored the crucial winning try against Ireland, as France look to win the Six Nations title for the first time since 2010.
