Fractured jaw for France's star playmaker
NEWS: Toulouse and France flyhalf Romain Ntamack suffered a double fracture of the jaw in the Top 14 win over Bordeaux and could miss a string of matches for club and country.
The 21-year-old left the pitch spitting blood on Sunday after an accidental smack in the face from Bordeaux’s Pablo Uberti.
“The scans show it’s a double fracture and that I need an operation,” Ntamack said on Twitter.
He now faces a race against the clock to be fit for the Six Nations in February and European Cup games with Exeter and Ulster.
