"Jean-Baptiste will look after the training of young props, but also the scrum alongside forwards coach Jacques Brunel," said President Laurent Marti.

Capped 42 times for France, Poux began his professional career at Narbonne before spending 11 seasons with Toulouse, where he won three French and European titles. He joined Bordeaux in 2013.

A veteran of three World Cup campaigns, the 37-year-old has since Tuesday been working as a scrum coach with the France national team on the basis of one day a week.
