Steyn set for Montpellier return
INJURY UPDATE: South Africa’s Francois Steyn is set to return for Montpellier after injury ruled him out for more than six weeks, the Top 14 club said on Monday.
Utility back Steyn has not featured for Vern Cotter’s side since suffering damage to his bicep in September’s 66-15 league demolition of Toulouse.
A World Cup winner in 2007, Steyn has not featured for the Springboks since last June’s Test series victory over France.
Elsewhere fellow South African Henry Immelman, Fiji’s Timoci Nagusa as well as France internationals Fulgence Ouedraogo and Yacouba Camara are also fit to face Agen in the Top 14 on Saturday.
But 13-time Springbok Johan Goosen, who suffered a serious ankle sprain in October’s victory over Toulon, is still not available but the playmaker has stepped up his rehabilitation by running for the first time in more than a month.
