Toulouse announced the extension after winning the Top 14 title.

Mauvaka had an excellent Top 14 Final – scoring a try and having another ruled out after a video replay in their 59-3 rout against Bordeaux.

Toulouse extended their title-winning record by claiming a 23rd domestic title and a third double by claiming the Top 14 and Champions Cup in one season – which was won back in May.

Mauvaka’s contact extension announcement was accompanied on Toulouse’s social networks by a photo of Mauvaka and club president Didier Lacroix smoking cigars and wearing sunglasses in front of the Brennus shield in Marseille’s Velodrome Stadium.

Mauvaka played in 20 matches this season consisting of 14 starts and scoring 10 tries.
