Vermeulen getting off the canvas
The Springbok No.8 suffered a knock to the head in the Top14 showdown between Toulon and Toulouse on Sunday and was stretchered off the field.
He left the field in the 44th minute after his attempt to prevent Maxime Medard from scoring went horribly wrong.
Vermeulen underwent surgery on a troublesome neck injury in July, and there were fears that he would be sidelined for some time.
However, he took to Twitter on Monday to clarify the situation, and explained that he had suffered concussion and some neck spasms, but will be available for selection in two weeks time.
Just a quick update on my injury from the past weekend top 14 clash: all good ?? got knocked out in the tackle and woke up with a neck spasm.
