WATCH: All Black red-carded for cheap shot

All Black Liam Messam was red-carded in Toulon’s loss to Montpellier in the Top 14 after this cheap shot on centre Yvan Reilhac.

The flank caught the midfielder cutting back and stopping him in his tracks with a shoulder to the jaw – resulting in a red card.

The incident occurred in the 81st minute, however, with the result of the match already sealed.

Toulon slumped to their fifth loss of the season and was truly outclassed by the home side in the 29-17 loss.

The result leaves struggling Toulon in 12th place in the table.
