Emerging Ireland trims squad ahead of Cheetahs clash

NEWS: Following their 29-24 victory over the Western Force in Bloemfontein, three Emerging Ireland squad members will be released to return to their respective provinces.

The three players are: Gus McCarthy (Leinster), Sean O’Brien (Munster) and Jude Postlehwaite (Ulster).

The trio will depart South Africa on Monday afternoon and will he available for selection for their respective URC fixtures this weekend.

Emerging Ireland will conclude the three-match series on Wednesday evening against the Cheetahs.
