Ireland centre a doubt after All Black clash

NEWS: The Ireland camp issued some injury updates ahead of their Test against Japan in Dublin on Saturday.

Stuart McCloskey (groin) is a doubt for the game and will continue to be monitored with a decision on his availability expected to be made later this week.

He started in the No.12 jersey in last Saturday’s 13-26 defeat to the All Blacks in Chicago.

The good news for Andy Farrell’s side is that Caelan Doris successfully came through his first match since May.

The Ireland team to face Japan will be named on Thursday.

Japan are coming off a 7-61 defeat to the Springboks at Wembley Stadium.
