INJURY UPDATE: Flank Lorenzo Cannone will miss Italy’s second match of the Six Nations against Ireland with a leg injury, the Italian rugby federation announced Thursday.

The 23-year-old Treviso forward came off with the injury in the 45th minute of Italy’s opening 24-27 defeat by England last weekend.

Italy face Ireland, rampant 38-17 winners over a misfiring France in their opener, in Dublin on Sunday.

Newly installed coach Gonzalo Quesada will also be missing another flank in the experienced shape of Sebastian Negri (ribs), although star back Ange Capuozzo returns in the 35-man squad after illness saw him miss the England game.
