According to 42.ie, Leinster fullback Hugo Keenan will be joining Ireland’s Sevens squad with the goal of playing at the Olympics in Paris.

It means that Saturday’s Champions Cup Final against Toulouse could be his last match for his province this season.

It is believed he will join Ireland’s Sevens set-up after that match.

He could feature in the final tournament of the SVNS Series in Madrid at the end of May, as well as the Rugby Europe Sevens Championship in Croatia in June.
