Wings join Ireland squad

Craig Gilroy and Simon Zebo have been added to the extended Ireland squad as the coaching team await the outcome of a scan on Keith Earls.

Earls was injured during Munster's final European Cup pool game, a 38-6 bonus point win over Edinburgh at Thomond Park on Sunday, and is undergoing a scan on Monday to determine the extent of the injury.

In the meantime, Gilroy and Zebo have been added to the training squad and joined up with the main contingent on Monday.

A number of players reported to the Ireland training camp with bumps and bruises following the weekend. Their training workload will be managed over the coming days but none are considered injury concerns.
