Springbok Women add Italy Test to blockbuster 2026 schedule

Springbok Women vs Italy at the RWC 2025

NEWS: Aside from an incredible home Test schedule, the Springbok Women will also travel to Italy to face the Azzurre at the Stadio Omero Tognon in Fontanafredda.

The Springbok Women are set to host the USA, New Zealand and Ireland at home and will take on Italy.

The last time the Bok Women faced the Azzurre was at the Rugby World Cup 2025, where South Africa recorded a 29-24 victory to secure a place in the quarterfinals.

The Springbok Women will face the USA in a two-Test series July 4 and 11.

Those two home fixtures will be followed by a historic Test against the Black Ferns at FNB Stadium on September 5, before the team travels to Italy.

The Bok Women will then host Ireland at Athlone Stadium in October.

All of South Africa’s opponents are currently ranked inside the world’s top 10. The USA are eighth, the Black Ferns second, Ireland fifth and Italy sixth.

Meanwhile, the SA ‘A’ side will face Brazil Women at Pacaembu Arena on 29 August.
