Venues confirmed for Italy's two Japan Tests

Conor O'Shea's Azzurri will challenge the Brave Blossoms, coached by New Zealander Jamie Joseph, on Saturday, June 9 in Oita and  Saturday, June 16 in Kobe.

Italy will also play an unofficial match on June 2 in Japan against an opponent yet to be confirmed.

The two nations have played six times with Italy winning five and Japan one including their most recent meeting in Tokyo on June 21, 2014.

The Tests will take place one year out from Japan hosting the Rugby World Cup from September 20 to November 2, 2019.
