Jake White picks former England star as Fiji target France
TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Fiji head coach Jake White has named former England international Nathan Hughes in his Nations Championship squad ahead of their clash with France in Lyon on Saturday.
Hughes, who last played Test rugby in 2019, has spent the last couple of years playing in the French Top 14 for Racing 92.
His last outing in the Test arena was in that thrilling 38-all draw between England and Scotland at Twickenham’s Allianz Stadium in the Six Nations.

Hughes will start in the No.8 jersey, and he’ll be paired with Kitione Salawa and Pita-Gus Sowakula in the backrow.
Jake White has named a mobile front row featuring Eroni Mawi, captain, Tevita Ikanivere and Luke Tagi.
