Bath have it all to do
And coach Mike Ford admitted "we let the fans down" after the 36-10 defeat at the Recreation Ground.
Any hopes Bath had of doing the Pool Five double over Wasps after their win on the road at the Ricoh Arena a week earlier were left in tatters by the huge defeat.
Now they face defending champions Toulon in their postponed match and then Leinster and Toulon again in a demanding series of matches.
"They (Wasps) have been a good defensive side do for some time but we feel we have let down the fans and we are really disappointed," said Ford.
"We will have a good look at ourselves – both as management and players – because we have let each other down.
"But we have faith in this group of players and, while this is an ugly period for us at the moment, when we get out of it we will be a better team."
And Ford paid tribute to Wasps, adding: "They played very well and things unravelled for us after they got their first try.
"I was a bit disappointed from there on in. We gave away too many penalties and our scrum wasn't good enough in the first half.
"We were on the back foot and although our scrum got better in the second half we were always chasing the game.
"Jimmy Gopperth managed the game really well – he kept kicking into the corners and kept us pegged back."
