The 25-year-old Harley will have to sit out Glasgow Warriors final three European Cup Pool matches next month as a result of the injury which was sustained during his side's 9-6 victory over Scarlets at Parc y Scarlets last weekend.

"We're disappointed for Rob that he's going to miss a number of games, especially as he has been in great form this season. We wish him all the best with his recovery," said Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend.

The PRO12 champions have worked their way back into the quarterfinal reckoning in Pool Three after their second round home defeat by Northampton Saints by taking nine out of 10 points with a first double in their history in the back-to-back Pool matches. Their first round game against Racing 92 was postponed.
