Coetzee replaced by former Saracens hardman
NEWS: Former Saracens and Namibia loose forward Jacques Burger has been appointed as the Welwitschias’ Director of Rugby and will take the reigns from former Springbok head coach Allister Coetzee.
Coetzee, who fulfilled both roles as Director of Rugby and head coach during his time with the Welwitschias has also been relieved of his coaching duties with with former Lions, Kings and Exeter Chiefs outside back Chrysander Botha taking over the coaching reigns.
He will be assisted by Jaco Engels, Rohan Kitshoff, David Philander and Sergio de la Harpe who comes in as the strength and conditioning coach.

Newly appointed Director of Rugby Jacques Burger made his vision clear for Namibia:
“We want to do some great stuff and make sure every single youngster in our country, are firstly very proud to represent Namibia and look forward to one day wear that Blue shirt.”
