Namibia head for Bucharest
Coach Johan Diergaardt and his team have set off for Bucharest where they playing their opening match in the IRB’s Nations Cup against Romania on Saturday. The team is captained buy tough Jacques Burger who these days plays on the flank for Saracens.

There are five uncapped players in the side: hooker Bertus O’Callaghan, centre Johan Adriaanse, scrumhalf Colin de Koe, versatile fullback Sergio de la Harpe and Gavin Benade who came in for André Schlechter , who withdrew. Renaud van Neel replaced lock Henk Franken who plays for Villagers and could not get a visa. Kees Lensing also withdrew because his wife is expecting their second child.
