Centre Billy Proctor will return to New Zealand after suffering a shoulder blade fracture in the opening tour match on Friday evening.
He won’t require surgery, but his estimated recovery time is 10-12 weeks, which will see him play no further part in the series.
The All Blacks lost hooker George Bell last Monday after suffering an injury during training and was replaced by Bradley Slater, who will feature off the bench against the Sharks on August 11.
Proctor’s replacement is yet to be named.
