CONFIRMED: Three All Black stars head home
INJURY UPDATE: The All Blacks have confirmed that three players will be heading home after Saturday’s defeat against the Springboks in Soweto.
New Zealand went down 24-29 at the FNB Stadium, and they now turn their attention to the fourth and final Test against the Boks in Baltimore.
In an update on Sunday, the All Blacks confirmed that captain Ardie Savea suffered a dislocated shoulder.
He left the field in the first half after scoring two tries.
The other players heading home are centre Quinn Tupaea and loose forward Luke Jacobson.
Tupaea has an MCL (knee) injury, while Jacobson has injured a tendon in his elbow.
“Return to play timeframes for these players are yet to be determined,” said a statement from the All Blacks.
The Springboks lead the series 2-1 ahead of next weekend’s clash in the USA.
