Cruden wants dead man's ligaments

 

The flyhalf will have scans on Monday after leaving the field against the Crusaders on Friday.

 

Chiefs prop Jamie Mackintosh says he's looked into an anterior cruciate ligament transplant option that's succeeded with AFL players.

 

"You can get surgery with a dead person's ACL and if it does really well and takes to the knee you can actually get that playing in six to eight weeks, which is pretty unbelievable."

 

Mackintosh says they're fearing the worst, which could mean time on the sidelines for the remainder of the year, with the World Cup coming up in September.
