Kwagga gets credit abroad

The BlitzBoks sensation's brute force and resilience secured him the man of the match mantle in the Barbarians'  22-31 defeat to All Black at Twickenham.

That performance also made sure the Lions loose forward – who is currently preparing for Cape Town Sevens with the BlitzBoks – took The Rugby Paper's  Best individual performance for the November Internationals.

Meanwhile, the player of the November Test Series award went to Rieko Ioane.

The best try couldn't be separated between Ioane's try against Wales when he worked the move off a scrum with TJ Perenara, Barrett's try against Scotland or Huw Jones' try against the All Blacks for Scotland.

The award for 'unexpected joy' went to the game between the All Blacks and a France XV with a request for more of the same in the future.

There was no surprise for the 'heart in the mouth moment' which went to Scotland's Stuart Hogg for his last-minute bid to draw level with the All Blacks in Edinburgh, only to be denied by Beauden Barrett's covering tackle.
