McCaw passed away 

NEWS: New Zealand Rugby has confirmed that Bill McCaw, who was the oldest living All Black has passed away at age 97.

McCaw was also the last surviving player who played against Wales in 1953 where the Welsh pulled off a famous victory over the men in black.

The All Blacks posted a heartfelt tribute to McCaw on their social media platforms.

“Bill played 32 matches for New Zealand [including five Tests] between 1951 and 1954 and was heavily involved in the Southland Rugby community.

“Forever part of the All Blacks legacy.”
