NPC play-offs at a glance

It took until Sunday's closing round robin match to confirm the last of the NPC semifinalist.

The 2013 NPC semifinal fixtures are as below:

Friday 18 October

Wellington v Counties Manukau, Westpac Stadium, Wellington – Kick-off: 19.35 (06.35 GMT)

Saturday 19 October

Canterbury v Auckland, AMI Stadium, Addington, Christchurch – Kick-off:  14.05 (01.05 GMT)

NPC CHAMPIONSHIP SEMIFINALS

Tasman v Southland, Lansdowne Park, Blenheim – Kick-off: 16.35 (03.35 GMT)

Sunday 20 October

Otago v Hawke’s Bay, Forsyth Barr Stadium – Kick-off:  14.35 (01.35 GMT)

* Meanwhile Otago's Hayden Parker and Tasman's Marty Banks finished the regular season in outstanding style with their points scoring in Sunday's NPC games.

Parker booted Otago to a win over Auckland and moved to second place behind Tony Brown on the points scored for Otago in a season, while Banks went one better and broke Andrew Goodman's season record of 116 points for Tasman and with two possible games left this year he is on 130 points.

Individual points scoring after 10 rounds:

161 – Hayden Parker (Otago); two tries, 20 conversions 37 penalties

140 – Ihaia West (Hawke's Bay); five tries, 20 cons, 25 pens

130 – Marty Banks (Tasman); three tries, 23 cons, 23 pens

125 – Lima Sopoaga (Wellington); one try, 39 cons, 20 pens

120 – Trent Renata (Waikato); two tries, 19 cons, 24 pens
