NZ U20 team named for World Champs

The New Zealand Under 20 squad for the IRB Junior World Championship in Argentina in June has been named.

The 26-man squad includes current players from last year’s Air New Zealand Cup, including Wellington midfielder Charlie Ngatai and winger Julian Savea who has also donned the black jersey for the New Zealand Sevens team. Waikato halfback and Chiefs wider training squad member Tawera Kerr-Barlow has also been selected.

New Zealand Under 20 squad:
Forwards: Liakimatagi Moli, Sean Polwart, Angus Taavao-Matau, Paul Ngauamo, Luke Whitelock, Ronald Raaymakers, Willie Ioane, Richard Haddon, Liam Coltman, Tom Franklin, Blade Thomson, Sam Prattley, Rory Grice, Jeff Allen.                    
Backs: Tyrone Ngaluafe, Tyler Bleyendaal, Telusa Veianu, Star Timu, Hayden Parker, Tom Marshall, Tawera Kerr-Barlow, Glen Robertson, Kayne Hammington, Charlie Ngatai, Julian Savea, Jason Woodward.
