'A proven track record': Bulls Daisies bring in another coaching guru
NEWS: The Bulls Daisies have appointed Owethu Sityata as the lead strength and conditioning coach on an initial 2-year deal.
Prior to her arrival at Loftus, Sityata spent the last four seasons as the strength and conditioning coach of the Sharks Women and Academy. She has also served as the assistant S&C to the United States team during the WXV competition and also forms part of the under-18 and under-20 Springbok Women’s sides.
Sityata says the opportunity to contribute to the Daisies’ threepeat quest is an honour.
“I am a child from a small village whose dream of helping build women’s rugby just grew one step further.
“This opportunity is an honour to work with such a talented group of players and coaches. They have carved out an exciting path already over the last two seasons, and I look forward to contributing to their future success.
“I look forward to cultivating greatness and learning from these athletes myself.”
