Springbok assistant coach Tony Brown is currently in New Zealand with his former team.

However, he will not be there for long.

According to the Otago Daily Times, Brown is in Dunedin for a “couple of weeks in an informal, observational capacity”.

He will then return to South Africa to resume his duties with the Springboks.

Brown was unveiled as the Boks’ attack coach at the beginning of last year and he has helped Rassie Erasmus achieve 11 wins out of 13 Tests in 2024.

That included a Rugby Championship title and an unbeaten end-of-year tour.
