In conversation with Schalk Burger: Don't miss out!
SPOTLIGHT: Dean Allen will be joining Springbok legend Schalk Burger as they look back at his illustrious career in a fundraising effort for Rugby’s Caring Hands.
Allen – an author, lecturer and historian – will chat with the World Cup winner and IRB World Player of the Year, in aid of the Players’ Fund.
Burger has been known as a man who would never give up and a dominant force in any team he was a part of.
Allen will look back over history with Schalk at times when rugby has been faced by global/national challenges and lessons learned which can be applied in the world we are all living in today.
This event forms part of the extraordinary fundraising efforts that the Chris Burger Petro Jackson Players’ Fund are having to venture into as a result of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Funds raised through these events will be used to ensure that the Fund remains available to their 107 recipients throughout the country.
To get your ticket we ask you to please donate either £2.50 (ZAR50) / £5 (ZAR100) or £8 (ZAR150) per person as a contribution to the Players’ Fund.
