Jurie Roux: Both sides of the coin

In the wake of recent reports of the impending departure of Jurie Roux as CEO of the South African Rugby Union, acclaimed radio anchor John Maytham invited Jan de Koning onto his show to discuss the subject.

The two represented the polarising views that have characterised the Roux versus Stellenbosch University saga.

Maytham, the anchor on CapeTalk‘s Afternoon Drive, represented the moral and emotional issues surrounding the case – especially those who want SARU to axe him based on ethical grounds.

De Koning, the editor of Rugby365, presents the legal case on why SARU must follow the letter of the law to avoid giving Roux future recourse.
