Lambie in doubt for World XV clash
The Springboks were dealt another blow ahead of the World XV clash on Saturday after flyhalf Pat Lambie suffered a head knock.
The Boks were taking part in a training session at the Cape Town Stadium on Tuesday and Lambie clashed heads in a light defensive training drill.
Lambie's head was cut open upon impact and he was taken off the field to receive stitches.
The 24-year-old was in line to make his comeback in the Springboks' opening international fixture against the World XV, after recovering from a neck injury which has ruled him out for over two months.
A call will be made on Wednesday whether Lambie will be available or not for the clash.
